The Elementary raised $722.34 during the Penny Wars. This money will be used to buy every resident at the nursing home a Christmas gift and money will be donated to the Christmas food baskets. 5th grade raised the most money with $186.15. Thank you to all who participated and donated!

Freshmen Return To Elementary
Yesterday the Freshmen paired up with the First grade and Kindergarten classes to spread a little holiday cheer. They made reindeer food, played cards, and read stories together.

Westward Expansion Sewing
4th graders got to try their hand at hand sewing. They each made a quilt sampler with their favorite part of the Oregon Trail. Thank you to the ladies from the sewing club who came to help out.

100th Day Breakfast
Today(Feb. 22) is our 100th day of school this year! For those of you who have not experienced the 100th Day with us before, the entire Elementary eats breakfast with their class instead of before school. Breakfast today was a sausage link (for the 1) and two pancakes (for the two zeros)!

Leap Day
Our kindergarten and first grade students teamed up with 7th and 9th grade math students to participate in some Leap Day challenges! Challenges included measuring how far a frog can jump, building a shelter with base-10 blocks with a value of 366, and graphing, just to name a few!
